Pick-up will be between 0730 hrs and 0745 hrs from the hotel and proceed on this Amazing sea adventure to Wasini Island. The journey will take 45-50 minutes drive from the hotel. Enjoy your relaxed scenic drive to Shimoni jetty – the location you’ll meet our guide and our boat operators. Upon arrival, our guide will then introduce you to this experienced seafarers who will then welcome you to shimoni and indeed to their dhows (ancient Arab boats). After a few formalities, they will sail you through this cool blue Indian ocean waters en-route to Mpunguti Island to see Dolphins.

After snorkeling, swimming and sun bathing sail to Wasini island. A sumptuous Swahili style seafood lunch shall be served in Wasini Island restaurant, followed by a quick tour of the island.
Having finished your island exploration; our boat will return you to the mainland where we will drive you back to the hotel arriving at around 1620 hrs.

• Bring along your towels, sun cream, hats, sunglasses , drinking water in glass bottles, swimming costume, water shoes
• Snorkeling gear (mask and tuba) will be lent for free. Flippers are available for hire
• Dolphin spotting happens regularly but at times it may be difficult since this is not a zoo but their natural habitat.
• There are several dhows with different capacity to carry passengers.
• There is coral bleaching but some parts are still colourful and amazing to see. Our certified guides and swimming instructors will swim with you there.
• Rarely but it happens in certain seasons that there could be jelly fish. Think of some protecting creams
• The island restaurant offers swahili cultural food and not specifically sea food (rice, cassava and potatoes made of coconut milk, chapatis, sea weed sauce, coconut milk sauce, fish and crabs mainly)
• For vegetarians, you need to place a request while reserving the tour
• Alcohol is not served on the island but you can bring your bottle.
• Plastic bottles are not permitted due to environmental concerns.
• Reservation needs to be made latest a day in advance to allow for paying of park fees by e-citizen, preparations for the lunch, food and dhows
