Tour Plan
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning and depart for Samburu Game reserve via Isiolo with a brief Stopover at (kibirigwi). On arrival, have game en route to the lodge or camp for lunch as well as check in. After lunch, relax until 1500hrs as you prepare for an exciting afternoon game drive. Here, you’ll be greeted by the rare species unique to this region, including Gravy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening in the wilderness. Samburu is the home to different bird species.
Dinner and overnight at Lodge/camp (samburu sopa or samburu simba lodges)
Life in the jungle start early and we’ll be up before dawn to listen to mixed songs of birds and possible roar of Lion. At 060 30hrs we’ll make our way to the open fields to look for the big cats. Explore Samburu in depth with morning game drive before driving back to the lodge for breakfast. Later on at around 1000 hrs proceed for a mid-morning game drive before returning to the lodge for lunch. After relaxation from the scotching sun and sumptuous lunch, return to the jungle at around 16h 00 for an afternoon game drive. This is a prime opportunity to catch the animals at their most active – including elephants, lions, and leopards. Your day will be a mix of adventure and relaxation, with lunch back at the lodge and time to rest before the afternoon drive. As the sun sets over the dramatic landscapes, you’ll understand why Samburu is one of Kenya’s hidden gems. Diner and overnight at the lodge
After breakfast, you’ll journey to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, famous for its rhino conservation and the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. This private conservancy is home to the Big Five and offers a unique safari experience with mesmerizing game drives and visits to the black rhino breeding programs. Arrive at the lodge/camp for check in and lunch before heading to the wilderness. After your afternoon game drive, relax under the stars with dinner and overnight at your camp.
Today, you’ll travel to the serene Lake Naivasha Depart at 0730 hrs from the camp/lodge after breakfast. Proceed to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at FISH EAGLE INN or LAKE NAIVASHA COUNTRY CLUB.
Take a boat-ride to explore the Lake Naivasha with possible views of Hippos and the native birds.
This shall be followed by a walking safari around the lake to admire some of its wildlife that may include Buffalo, Waterbuck, Antelope, Giraffes, Zebra among others will be seen. End your day with dinner at your lodge, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Settle into your camp before embarking on your afternoon NATURE WALK around the areas surrounding the reserve.
Masai Mara ecosystem boosts the highest concentration of wildlife than any other park in the region. This will be followed by a visit to Maasai Village in order to learn about their culture and rich tradition. Dinner and overnight stay at MARA OLDARPOI CAMP or AA MARA LODGE
We will be spending whole day in Masai Mara with game drives. You shall leave your camp with packed lunch box unless you prefer otherwise. A full day of safari in the Masai Mara awaits! Early morning game drives are the best time to spot predators on the hunt. Your day will be filled with unforgettable wildlife moments, from grazing antelopes to the majestic Big Five. If you’re visiting during the Great Migration, witness the awe-inspiring river crossings. You can also opt for a thrilling hot air balloon safari at $450 to take in the breathtaking scenery from above. Enjoy another night in the Mara with dinner at your camp.
Wildlife in the Masai Mara is found in prolific numbers and the game reserve has the highest wildlife concentration per square kilometer. We shall search the predators in the field and follow the scavenger’s trails during our intensive yet enchanting game viewing.
We shall spread our game viewing area and cover the wildebeest Migration River crossing points. Crocodiles and hippos will be seen during this amazing game viewing. Return to our camp. MARA OLDARPOI CAMP or AA MARA LODGE for dinner and overnight.
On the final day, you’ll enjoy a relaxed morning with no scheduled activities, allowing you to take your time with breakfast. Afterward, our team will assist with your check-out and ensure a smooth transfer back to Nairobi. Once you arrive, we’ll see you off at your hotel or the airport, bringing your memorable safari to a close. After breakfast we’ll continue our adventure with another game drive and perhaps (weather permitting) sightings of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. This towering massif is a stunning backdrop to the wildlife in the park – a gift to visitors and photographers alike.
We will also venture up to the vantage point of Observation Hill for views of the park’s plains, marshes and the wildlife inhabiting them.
If you’d like to learn about the local Maasai people, we offer an optional visit to a nearby village where you can meet them, learn about their unique herding culture, and perhaps purchase some of their colorful crafts.
